MegaMacs — Main unit

Mega Macs "MegaMacs" is a self contained automated tank cleaning system for removal of industrial sludge's found in many tanks, ponds, ships, barges, railcars and other reservoirs. System separates extracted sludge, depending on local conditions and customer requirements for further sale and disposal.

Major components of MegaMacs primary unit are:

All equipment and peripherals are hydraulically driven by the own Hydraulic system and are operated from the central Control station. System designed using off shelf high quality components to simplify maintenance and spare parts procurement. MegaMacs is rated as explosive proof equipment and extremely safe to use near oil reservoirs.

Vacuum System Rotary vane compressor-vacuum pump. 412 CFM displacement @ 1500 RPM Hydraulic drive system. Equipped with a primary shutoff assembly, secondary moisture trap, inlet strainer, exhaust oil separator and silencer.
Hydraulic System System 1 - 66 GPM closed loop systems for powering the main wash pump at up to 4,000 PSI drive pressure. System 2 - 120 GPM main open loop system.
Process Heater Direct fired spiral tube heat exchanger equipped with Maxon 550 SP oven pack burner. 5MMBTUH on diesel fuel Approximately 40 F delta T @ 300 GPM. Fully modulating temperature control. Flame safe guard control. Replaceable ASME coil.

Skimmer Pump

Progressive cavity pump for transferring skimmed oil from main process tank to the second phase of the system or to the oil collection tank. 100 GPM @ 87PSIG Hydraulic drive system.

Solid Pump

Progressive cavity pump for periodically transferring solids from main process tank to the second phase of the system for process and removal. 100 GPM @ 87PSIG Hydraulic drive system.

Main Wash Pump provides delivery of washing solution to the peripheral equipment and recirculation of washing solution through heating system.

System 1 - 66 GPM closed loop systems for powering the main wash pump at up to 4,000 PSI drive pressure.

System 2 - 120 GPM main open loop system. Each of the systems is equipped with full flow filtration while the main open loop system provides full flow cooling.

The 270 Gallons nominal capacity hydraulic reservoir is equipped with temperature and level gauges while the hydraulic filters and minimum tank level are monitored electrically.
